Nourishment, education & social terraces. At two Hillsborough Community College campuses, NEST sites were developed as interactive educational public spaces and food forests to serve the HCC community. Together with community partners and local food banks, the NEST project addresses issues of student food insecurity and accessibility. Over 30 Florida friendly fruit trees and 100's of Florida native plants create a sustainable and vibrant ecological social space at HCC.
